Collection: Olivier Cresp
Olivier Cresp is one of the most decorated and historically significant perfumers alive.
Born in 1955 in Grasse into a family with roots in the region's raw material trade dating back to the 12th century, his great-grandfather cultivated roses and jasmine, his grandfather and father traded in natural ingredients, he has been a perfumer since 1975 and joined Firmenich in 1992.
In his very first year there he created Thierry Mugler Angel, a fragrance that single-handedly invented the gourmand category and remains one of the most influential and copied fragrances ever made.
His other iconic works include Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Nina by Nina Ricci.
He was appointed Master Perfumer in 2006, Perfumer of the Year in 2007, was awarded the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2012, and received the Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
He co-created several fragrances with Hamid Merati-Kashani for Goldfield & Banks.
