Liquides Imaginaires was founded by Philippe Di Méo, the house's artistic director, and David Frossard, founder of the distribution label Différentes Latitudes. Story always comes first: Di Méo writes the narrative brief, drawing on mythology, esoteric symbolism and the collective subconscious, before any fragrance development begins. Releases come in trilogies, three scents linked by theme, spanning sacred and sensual territory with equal conviction. The bottles, amphora-shaped, feel more like ritual artefacts than packaging. Perfumery that takes its own premise seriously, and rewards the same in return.
From Blanche Bête to the wider house
Blanche Bête is an inviting starting point for anyone drawn to soft, milky perfume. If that is how you discovered Liquides Imaginaires, the rest of the house deserves your attention: its mythological stories open into very different fragrance worlds. Fortis and Cédrat Tonic are two of our starting points for customers choosing a distinctive everyday or work fragrance. Collectors can follow the linked trilogies, while the discovery set offers a way to explore across them.
