Antoine Maisondieu

Antoine Maisondieu is a Senior Perfumer at Givaudan, Paris.

Born in Grasse into a family with deep roots in perfumery, he grew up immersed in the aromatic landscape of the Côte d'Azur.

Despite that heritage, he initially pursued law — before an internship in perfumery redirected him entirely. A meeting with perfumer Jacques Chabbert proved decisive; he trained at the Roure school and joined Givaudan's fine fragrance department in 1989.

His credits span Armani Code, Burberry Brit, Comme des Garçons, Maison Margiela, and État Libre d'Orange.

His style tends toward the refined and wearable, even within challenging briefs.
