Caroline Sabas

Caroline Sabas is a Senior Perfumer at Givaudan, based in New York.

Born into the craft, her father was a perfumer in Grasse, she stepped into his lab at sixteen and never looked back.

She trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and completed her studies at Chanel in Paris before beginning her career at Fragrance Resources in New York in 1997, joining Givaudan in 2003.

Her portfolio spans celebrity and prestige fragrance: Rihanna, Calvin Klein, Narciso Rodriguez, État libre d'Orange, alongside niche work for Fragrance Du Bois and Commodity.

Vetiver holds a particular place in her work, deepened by a trip to Haiti in 2012 to explore ethical sourcing firsthand.
