Cecile Matton

Cécile Matton is a Senior Perfumer at MANE and Cosmétique Mag's Perfumer of the Year 2018.

Born in Kinshasa and raised in Zaire, she studied pharmacy in France before entering the Givaudan Perfumery School, where she trained under Jean Guichard.

She signed her first fine fragrance creations at Givaudan, then spent two years at IFF in New York before joining MANE in 2007.

Her portfolio includes Viktor & Rolf Bonbon, YSL Baby Doll, Diptyque, Dolce & Gabbana, and Lalique, with a signature style marked by a love for green chypre accords and a self-described identity as an artisan rather than an artist.

She also makes jewellery, earning her the industry nickname "the Jeweller Perfumer."
