Collection: Fanny Bal.

Fanny Bal is a perfumer at Givaudan (formerly IFF), born in Lyon in 1988.

She studied chemistry before enrolling at ISIPCA in Versailles, where she was spotted by Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion, who took her on as his apprentice, a formal and rare designation within IFF.

Her approach starts from the unexpected: an original pairing of two ingredients, then built outward from there.

Described by Ropion as "curious, tenacious and bold," she is widely regarded as one of the most compelling noses of her generation.

Her credits include Frédéric Malle, Givenchy, Mugler, Azzaro, Masque Milano, and Issey Miyake.
