Gael Montero

Gaël Montero is a perfumer at Givaudan, based in Dubai.

Of French and Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, he studied perfumery at Montpellier University before completing internships that included a mentorship under Jordi Fernández in Barcelona, and a stint at Procter & Gamble, before being admitted to the Givaudan Perfumery School in Paris.

His creative philosophy treats each formula as an architectural project: built from raw materials outward, driven by curiosity and collaboration, and anchored in the balance between art and science.

His credits include Memo Paris, Maison Crivelli, Ex Nihilo, and Fragrance Du Bois.
