Collection: Gérald Ghislain

Raised in the south of France and Morocco, Gérald Ghislain trained as a restaurateur and hotelier before fragrance became his obsession.

He studied at ISIPCA in Versailles and in 2000 founded Histoires de Parfums: one of the earliest independent niche houses of the modern era, predating most of the brands we now consider classics of the movement.

His fragrances are conceived as olfactory biographies: the collection is structured around famous historical figures (Mata Hari, Casanova, Hemingway), mythical years, and precious raw materials.

A confessed epicurean and jack of all trades, he remains both founder and perfumer of the house.
