Collection: Jacques Huclier
Jacques Huclier is a Senior Perfumer at Givaudan, Paris.
A chemistry graduate with no family background in perfumery, he found his way to ISIPCA before training with Haarmann & Reimer under Olivier Cresp and Pierre Bourdon, then moving through Quest before joining Givaudan in 2003.
He is best known for co-creating Mugler A*Men in 1996, one of the first gourmand masculines and a fragrance that effectively opened a new category.
His palette centres on vanilla absolute, tonka bean, and patchouli, pushed with the kind of conviction that makes comfort feel bold.
His broader credits span Gucci, Davidoff, Nina Ricci, Azzaro, and Boy Smells, alongside a long-running collaboration with Australian niche house Map of the Heart.
