Louise Turner.

Louise Turner is a perfumer at Givaudan, Paris, and house perfumer at Caron since 2025.

Born in Kent and originally studying dentistry, she stumbled into perfumery via a summer job at Quest in the mid-1990s and never returned to medicine.

She joined Quest's fine fragrance division in Paris in 1996, studying raw materials without formal school training, and has been with Givaudan since 2000.

Her signature is joyful and luminous: orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and tuberose rendered with an attention to petal texture as much as scent.

Her credits span Carolina Herrera, Chloé, Dior, Mugler, Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Maison Martin Margiela, and Liquides Imaginaires.
