Collection: Luca Maffei

Luca Maffei is an independent Italian perfumer and co-founder of Atelier Fragranze Milano, established in 2011.

Born in 1985, he grew up immersed in fragrance through his father Marco Maffei, a fragrance executive at Symrise and IFF whose home was regularly stocked with lab samples and visited by names including Dominique Ropion and Michel Almairac.

He studied economics in Milan before travelling to Grasse to train under Françoise Marin, former director of the Roure perfumery school, followed by an apprenticeship with Vincent Ricord and close collaboration with master perfumer Maurizio Cerizza.

A member of the Société Française des Parfumeurs since 2014, his credits include Masque Milano, Histoires de Parfums, Jul et Mad, Acca Kappa, Perris Monte Carlo, and Gallivant, with two Art and Olfaction Award wins in 2015 and 2016.
