Phillipe Paparella-Paris

Philippe Paparella-Paris is a Senior Perfumer at Symrise, currently based in São Paulo.

A native of the south of France, he studied sciences in Montpellier before specialising at ISIPCA in Versailles, then began his career at Mane's perfumer training programme.

His career has been defined by serial relocation: Jakarta in 2001, China in 2003, Symrise from 2008, Dubai in 2016, and São Paulo from 2020.

Each posting expanded his palette, from tropical fruits in Indonesia to the opulent oriental traditions of the Gulf.

His creative approach is strongly imaginative rather than experiential, a single image or word sufficient to generate a full olfactory concept.

His credits include Memo Paris, Floraïku, Hermetica, Ferrari, and J.U.S Parfums.
