Remi Barbier

Rémi Barbier is an independent perfumer based in Grasse.

Born in the Provençal countryside, his early olfactory world was formed by the garrigue: thyme, rosemary, pine, and cistus.

He studied chemistry before an internship with Jean-Claude Ellena proved the decisive turning point in his career, after which he completed his formal training at ISIPCA in Versailles.

He works as a freelance creator across niche and independent brands, combining a deep attachment to precious naturals with a creative process shaped by trail-running and travel.
