Sven Pritzkoleit

Sven Pritzkoleit is a German independent perfumer and founder of SP Parfums, based in Germany.

Born in East Germany in the 1970s, he trained and worked as a pharmacist in the family apothecary while simultaneously teaching himself perfumery over two decades, studying raw materials and reading Roudnitska, Ellena, and Jellinek until the craft took over entirely.

He created his first formula, Pink Patchouli, in 2006, and founded SP Parfums in 2016 following the closure of the family pharmacy. He published his book Duftspuren, a guide to perfume composing, the same year.

His style blends vintage animalic foundations with modern molecules, with wood notes at the core.

He won the Art and Olfaction Award in 2019 and has collaborated with Zoologist Perfumes.
