Valerie Garnuch-Mentzel

Valérie Garnuch-Mentzel is a Consumer Product Perfumer at Givaudan, based in Munich.

Born and educated in France, she graduated with honours from ISIPCA in 1992, completing her internship at IFF, before beginning her career at Drom Fragrances in quality control and working her way into creative perfumery.

Her three-decade career at Drom took her through offices in Paris, Munich, and New York, where she built deep expertise across fine fragrance, personal care, and deodorant categories.

She has worked with L'Oréal, Beiersdorf, Yves Rocher, and The Body Shop, alongside niche credits including Kajal Parfums Paris, Wiener Blut, and Guess.
