Clement Marx

Clément Marx is a perfumer at Robertet, based in Grasse.

Born in Corsica and raised near Grasse, with his uncle's house set among the lavender fields of the Luberon, he grew up saturated in scent, though it was at eighteen that he formally committed to perfumery as a career.

After qualifying as a mining engineer in Albi, he went to England where a chance encounter with perfumer Jean-Charles Mignon at Robertet UK set him on a new path.

He trained at Robertet's in-house school in Grasse under Jean-François Latty and Michel Almairac, with an earlier stint as R&D engineer at Parfums Christian Dior at LVMH.

His credits include Lalique, Boucheron, Jimmy Choo, Bon Parfumeur, and Kierin NYC.
