Collection: Honorine Blanc
Born in Beirut, Honorine Blanc spent her childhood immersed in what she has described as 'a childhood lived between flowers and bombs', the rich sensory culture of Lebanon, before leaving for Paris, where she completed a Master's degree in mathematics, physics, and chemistry and then trained at ISIPCA.
An offer to apprentice under the legendary Master Perfumer Sophia Grojsman brought her to New York, where she has remained ever since, now as a Master Perfumer at dsm-firmenich.
Her approach is emotional rather than technical: 'I don't smell my fragrances — I feel them.'
She is one of the noses behind YSL Black Opium (2014), one of the bestselling fragrances of the decade, and has also created Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir, Beyoncé Heat Rush, and fragrances for Estée Lauder, Diesel, and AERIN.
Her work for Goldfield & Banks reflects her gift for tension and sensuality.
