Collection: Nanako Ogi

Nanako Ogi is a perfumer at Givaudan, based in Singapore.

Raised in rural Japan surrounded by rice fields and forests, she studied anthropology at university before a friend's offhand remark about her constant commentary on scents redirected her entirely.

She moved to the United States, earned a chemistry degree, and spent a decade in the fragrance industry before being admitted to the Givaudan Perfumery School.

She began working as a perfumer in Dubai in 2017 before relocating to Singapore.

Her creative approach weaves Japanese sensibility into cross-cultural compositions, drawing on the Kodo wood-burning ceremony alongside Omani frankincense traditions.

Her credits include Fragrance Du Bois, Ojar, and Parfums de Marly.
