Shadi Samra

Shadi Samra is a Dubai-based independent perfumer and founder of Scentify Perfumes, with over two decades of experience in the fragrance industry.

A specialist in oud and oriental perfumery, he built his career across significant regional roles including regional manager at Arabian Oud and scent expert at Fragrance Du Bois, developing unmatched knowledge of GCC market preferences, oud oil evaluation, and Gulf layering traditions.

He served on the Fragrance Foundation Arabia board of directors and was a judge at the Fragrance Oscars for eight consecutive years.

A vocal advocate for natural ingredients and sustainable sourcing, he approaches creation as the act of putting emotion into a bottle.
