DESCRIPTION

Kubera, also known as Vessavana, is the guardian of the North and the deity of wealth in both Hindu and Buddhist cosmology. He is often portrayed as a majestic and powerful figure adorned in lavish regalia that represents abundance, authority, and spiritual generosity.

In Buddhist tradition, he is one of the Four Great Kings who reside in the Caturmaharajika Heaven. He presides over beings such as yakshas, asuras, and other powerful entities connected to hidden realms and material treasures.

While closely associated with riches, Kubera also stands for balance, wisdom, and the ethical use of wealth. He is frequently depicted holding a long mace, a symbol of his strength as a protector and his role as a fair and rightful guardian of prosperity.
